8. The Cody's Quantum Captioning Software

The Cody's Quantum Captioning tool runs entirely on your local computer. It does not transmit your video files, audio, or transcription data to our servers or any third-party servers. The only data we collect is what you voluntarily provide through the download form on our website.

If you choose to enable the optional YouTube upload feature within the software, that data is transmitted directly between your computer and YouTube's servers via the YouTube Data API, and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. If you choose to enable the optional AI metadata feature, your video title and description data is transmitted to the Anthropic API using your own API key, and is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

9. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
